All Meeting Planners
The GMVCVB partners with member hotels, restaurants, museums,
and other meeting venues to ensure successful meetings and convention
experiences. The Greater Merrimack Valley CVB will assist meeting
planners with site inspections, Bid Proposals, Transportation options,
Publicity, Destination Literature and local Ambassadors to greet your
guests.
With over 230,000 square feet of flexible meeting space we can comfortably
accommodate groups up to 8,000. The state of the art Tsongas
Arena has a seating capacity of 8,000 with 30,000 square feet
of exhibit space. The historic Lowell
Memorial Auditorium has a seating capacity of 3,000 with approximately
20,000 square feet of exhibit space. In addition, many of our hotels
have extensive meeting and ballroom space to accommodate trade shows,
break out sessions, special events and banquets. With over 4000
committable hotel rooms, offering a wide variety of features and
amenities, you're sure to find the perfect place for your next meeting
or convention!
The Greater Merrimack Valley is easily accessible. It is located approximately
27 miles northwest of Boston with excellent highway access from Routes
3, I-93, and I-495. Direct commuter rail service is also available
to and from Boston via the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.
Attendees can also fly into one of three airports within a 30-mile
radius of Lowell, Massachusetts: Logan International Airport, Manchester
Airport or Hanscom Regional Airfield.
When your attendees are ready to relax, there are plenty of things
to do and see. You will find the Greater Merrimack Valley rich in
history, culture, fine-dining,
first class entertainment and some of the best shopping in New England.
