Media Hosting

The Greater Merrimack Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau can arrange and coordinate both group and individual media visits to the Greater Merrimack Valley Region throughout the calendar year. Requests for visits are handled on an individual basis where the unique needs of each journalist and their projects are taken into consideration. If you are a journalist planning a visit to our area and would like to coordinate with us, please take moment to review the following recommendations to allow us to help you better:

• Please contact us with as much lead time as possible. At least 30 days notice is appreciated. Please also inform us of the subject matter you are interested in and of the approximate length of your stay. This will allow us to do the best possible job of helping you with your needs.
  
  
• If possible, provide us with a letter of assignment from your media organization. This should include a description of your assigned story, desired word count or running time, and the date that the story will be published or aired.
  
  
• Let us know your circulation or audience size as well as any other significant demographic information about the media organization you represent.
  
  
• Provide us with samples of previously published stories. If you are a freelance journalist this will be particularly helpful to us when coordinating your visit.
